Alex joined Hightower Signature Wealth (formerly known as HT|TC Wealth Partners) in 2023 with more than a decade of experience in the financial services industry. As a Wealth Advisor & Executive Director, Alex is responsible for assisting with evaluating clients' current financial positions and needs, developing comprehensive financial plans, and coordinating with the team to present tailored solutions.
He enjoys collaborating with business owners to create, implement, and manage retirement plans that encapsulate their business goals while offering attractive employee benefits.
Alex also works closely with physicians at a turning point in their careers – those weighing early retirement, planning a phased exit from clinical practice, or preparing to sell or pass on their medical practice. He helps them understand the financial picture they’ve built, so the decision about what comes next becomes theirs to make with clarity.
Previously, Alex managed retirement plan services for EFG Advisors, leading the retirement plan division and managing the practice's retirement plan service model. He also served as an Associate Financial Advisor, working closely with clients in all aspects of investment management, and financial planning. Before joining EFG Advisors in 2019, Alex’s experiences included personal banking and lending services for a mid-market regional bank and serving as a retirement plan consultant, responsible for plan design, compliance reporting preparation, and asset reconciliation.
He attended the University of Illinois, majoring in Agricultural and Consumer Economics with a concentration in Finance. He obtained an MBA from Illinois State University with a concentration in Management and Finance. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor®. He also was named to Forbes’ Best-In-State Next-Gen Wealth Advisors for 2026.*
Alex enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, attending outdoor sporting and concert events, playing volleyball, and spoiling his dog, Layla.
