Matt Powers serves as a senior wealth advisor at Hightower Signature Wealth (formerly known as Frontier). He joined in 2015 and brings 18 years of experience in investment management and personal financial planning to the practice. Prior to joining Hightower Signature Wealth, Matt worked as a personal financial advisor at GuideStone Financial Resources. Prior to that, he was a financial consultant with AXA Equitable.

Professionally, Matt is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Dallas-Fort Worth. He is actively involved in numerous charitable and community organizations. He has taught personal finance classes at Wilshire Baptist Church, Highland Park United Methodist Church, and City Square, and taught career preparedness classes to high school students through Junior Achievement.

Matt received his bachelor’s degree in real estate and risk management and insurance from Baylor University and his MBA in management from Dallas Baptist University. Matt is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ designation.
