Wealth Advisor, Managing Director
Kristin is a Senior Wealth Advisor and Managing Director at HTSW, where she partners with individuals and families to deliver thoughtful, relationship-driven financial planning across all stages of life. Kristin left a career in property and casualty insurance in 2009 to pursue the entrepreneurial and people-focused work of financial planning. Inspired by her grandmother Jean, who became a widow at 42 with two young children and ultimately lived until 98, Kristin saw firsthand the long-term impact that proactive financial planning can have on a family’s security and independence. This experience continues to shape her approach and fuels her passion for helping clients make confident, well-informed decisions.
In 2016, Kristin founded the non-profit organization “100+ Women Who Care, Contra Costa County”. Their mission is for 100+ women to commit to contributing $100 four times a year to local charities. Kristin is inspired by the vision of women pooling their resources to make a greater difference in the community. To date, the group has collectively donated more than $250,000 to local nonprofits across Contra Costa County.
Kristin has received numerous industry accolades for her work with clients including being recognized by Investment News on their 2026 Top Financial Advisors List, as well as recognitions from Forbes and other industry publications. She credits her professional growth to deeply listening to her clients and applying comprehensive planning experience to recommend the right strategies at the right time.
Kristin lives in Alamo, CA with her daughters Samantha and Robin, and their mini Goldendoodle Rosie. Her family is her pride and joy, and she especially enjoys spending time with her extended and blended family. Outside of work and community involvement, she enjoys cooking, entertaining, hiking and leading her professional team to new opportunities. Kristin holds a BS in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder (2002).
