In addition to her financial planning work with clients, Kerry actively teaches, and blogs about anxiety, wealth and wellness.
Kerry’s work as a financial planner is deeply informed by her background in corporate business consulting, public health, and holistic wellness. Prior to entering the financial services industry, she worked as a consultant to wealth management firms in Washington, D.C., gaining early exposure to the systems that shape people’s financial lives. Her longstanding interest in health and wellbeing led her to pursue a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center, as well as a graduate degree from The Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her work included performing statistical analysis for a multi-million-dollar USDA grant examining the impact of school gardening programs on obesity-related factors for low-income children across Texas. She also served on the faculty at the Texas A&M College of Medicine and designed an innovative wellness program for low-income women in Austin. She is a graduate of Brown University, where she graduated with honors.
As a former Nationally Ranked Division 1 Tennis Player, Kerry enjoys staying active. When Kerry isn’t working, she loves to camp, play tennis, and hike with her husband and two children. She can also be found meditating, practicing yoga, chatting at the farmer’s market, or listening to her favorite podcast while walking her dogs.
