Jim joined Hightower Signature Wealth (formerly known as Valley Financial Group) as a Wealth Advisor in 2026. He brings the same commitment to protecting and serving others that guided his distinguished 25-year career in law enforcement.

Jim began his law enforcement career after graduating from the Philadelphia Police Academy in 1999. After three years in Philadelphia’s 26th District, he joined the Bensalem Township Police Department, where he advanced through the ranks from Patrol Officer to Corporal, Sergeant, Detective Sergeant and Lieutenant.

In 2018, Jim joined the department’s Command Staff, serving first as Patrol Operations Commander and later as Administrative Services Commander. In recognition of his dedication to the community, he was named Rotary Officer of the Year in 2016.

Jim began working as a financial advisor in October 2020 while continuing to serve in law enforcement. After retiring from the police department in February 2024, he transitioned to financial advising full time, beginning the next chapter of his professional career.

Jim grew up in Philadelphia and now resides in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, with his wife and three children. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and a master’s degree in Police Administration from Saint Joseph’s University. He is also a graduate of Class 353 of the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command.
