Senior Wealth Advisor
Elena likes using her skills in finance that she has accumulated over the years to help her clients live a life well-lived. This includes thinking about good health, finance, family, and friends. “As the nuclear family continues to disappear our role as advisors has a much more profound effect on our client’s lives. They really count on us to be supportive and helpful in various phases of decision making. This is one of the nicest things about my job and a role I continue to enjoy.”
Her career began at Morgan Stanley in International Trading reporting directly to the Managing Director of the department. Prior to joining RDM, Elena worked at Bear Stearns, NatWest Bank USA, and Morgan Stanley & Co. She was the trader for an all-cap mutual fund while employed at Bear Stearns for five years and reported directly to the President of the fund. As an institutional trader at NatWest Bank, she covered mutual funds and pension funds in Colorado, California, and New York for four years. She was one of the initial members of a team who helped develop and build the US trading arm of NatWest PLC. She holds series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.
Elena and her husband, who are both in finance, decided they no longer wanted to commute to New York City for work and moved to Connecticut over thirty years ago. Elena is involved with Pink Aid, an organization that financially assists those in treatment for breast cancer and survivors. She is hoping to do more for women underserved in the community. She also looks forward to working and helping with rescue dogs as time permits with her busy schedule.
In her spare time Elena likes to read financial research reports as well as fiction and biographies. She enjoys gardening, travelling and most of all she likes spending time with her husband, family, friends and of course her little Havanese.
