Ed is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and joined Hightower Signature Wealth in 2026 (formerly known as Valley Financial Group). Ed has been in the investment industry since 2000 after a brief career as a high school math teacher. Before becoming a co-owner of Valley Financial Group in September of 2016, Ed worked previously at Pitcairn Financial Group and Brinker Capital, where he helped educate financial advisors and their clients on the topic of behavioral finance. Ed holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Education from LaSalle University, where he captained the soccer team, and an MS degree in Finance from Temple University.

Ed thoroughly enjoys walking clients and prospects through the financial planning process, learning what is important to them, and working with them to build a plan that allows them to be “work-optional” when they are ready.

Ed was born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia, the son of a Philadelphia police officer. He is happily married to his wife, Robin. They currently reside in Collegeville, PA and enjoy traveling to support their children and their college teams—Colin at Moravian University (soccer) and Ella at the University of Virginia (cross country & track). Away from the business, Ed enjoys playing golf, tennis, and pickleball, as well as reading. Ed and his family enjoy spending their summer weekends in North Wildwood, NJ.
