Darren brings over 23 years of experience in the financial services industry. Throughout his career, he has served in many facets of the financial industry, including floor trader, portfolio manager, trader, financial planner, director of charitable estate planning, and chief compliance officer. As a wealth advisor at Hightower Signature Wealth (formerly known as Frontier), Darren is able to engage in his favorite role, financial planner.

Professionally, Darren is a member of the Fox Valley Estate Planning Council in the Chicagoland area. He is also actively involved in several charitable and community organizations, such as Senior Care Volunteer Network, Northern Illinois Food Bank, and Exodus World Service, while serving in several ministries at his home congregation, Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church.

Darren earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification in 2003.

Darren’s personal life is filled with family time, as he and his wife of 30 years gather regularly with their four adult children and five grandchildren. In his spare time, Darren enjoys reading, writing, live theater, disc golf, fishing, darts, cornhole, and bowling.
