Bruce Thompson

Wealth Advisor, Executive Director

Bruce brings over 40 years of investment wisdom and planning experience. In 1991, he founded Thompson Wealth Management in Concord, Massachusetts, earning a reputation as a early adopter of the fee-only advice revolution, a family coach, and a tireless steward for generations of clients. His team joined with Hightower Signature Wealth (formerly known as Lexington Wealth Management) in December 2021, “for its strong culture and team, focus on holistic planning, and because the practice is built on client trust and the belief that clients’ success is what truly matters.”

Bruce served as Vice President at Smith Barney and Dean Witter, and as Account Executive at EF Hutton and IDS American Express. He graduated from Nichols School and Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, including a one-year exchange program at London School of Economics. Professional education includes the certificate program in quantitative portfolio management at Harvard University, and the American Banking Institute certificate in money and banking.

Bruce lives in Concord center with his wife, Marianne. He considers convincing her to marry him and raising their two children, Dylan, and Sarah, as his greatest achievements! He serves on the boards at Nashawtuc Country Club and uAspire, a non-profit providing college bound students of need with financial aid counseling. He oversees the Thompson Family “B the Match” Charitable fund, which seeks to spark entrepreneurialism among non-profits. Bruce’s philosophy of seeking balance in life, as with investing, has led to a lifelong affinity for the arts and playing too many sports to mention, none of them particularly well!
