Wealth Advisor, Managing Director
Aaron Derderian, CFP® is a Senior Wealth Advisor at Hightower Signature Wealth (formerly Lexington Wealth Management), where he has built his entire professional career. With more than 15 years of industry experience, Aaron focuses on building relationships rooted in trust, transparency, and consistency. He joined the team as a college intern in 2012 while attending Bentley University and has remained with the organization ever since. From intern to Senior Wealth Advisor, Aaron’s path reflects loyalty, continuity, and a deep commitment to the practice’s client-first philosophy. In an industry often defined by movement, he has had the privilege of growing alongside the families he serves.
Aaron holds a CFP® certification, the standard of excellence in financial planning and a formal recognition of knowledge in the areas of financial planning, taxes, insurance, estate planning strategies, and retirement. He applies this rigorous training to deliver disciplined, planning-driven advice designed to provide clarity, confidence, and long-term financial security.
Aaron began his career in investment operations, learning the business from the ground up while working closely with clients and supporting advisors. That hands-on foundation shaped his detail-oriented, service-driven approach and gives him a deep appreciation for every aspect of the client experience.
Beyond his work with clients, Aaron serves on Hightower Advisors’ Field Professional Council, a select group of advisors from across the practice who engage directly with senior leadership to share insights from the field and influence strategic initiatives. In this role, he helps ensure that the advisor and client perspective remains central to the team’s continued growth and evolution.
Deeply proud of his Armenian heritage, Aaron is actively involved in the greater Boston Armenian community. He serves on the Parish Council and as Treasurer of St. James Armenian Church in Watertown, Massachusetts, is a board member of the Knights of Vartan, and is a Deacon in the Armenian Church, serving on the altar each Sunday. Aaron, his wife Nanour, and son Avo reside in Bedford, Massachusetts.
Aaron earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Law from Bentley University in 2013. Outside the office, he enjoys skiing throughout Vermont and New Hampshire, snowmobiling, golfing, and spending time in Naples, Florida. He also enjoys tackling projects around the house and may be one of the few people who genuinely looks forward to firing up the snowblower in the winter or the lawn mower in the summer.
