Managing Director
Jeffrey Corliss is a seasoned Managing Director and Partner at Hightower Signature Wealth (formerly RDM Financial Group), part of the Hightower Advisors network. With more than 35 years of experience, Jeff combines disciplined planning with a deep understanding of client priorities.
His career began at Grumman Aerospace, where he tracked F-14 production—a role that sharpened his focus on systems, data, and accountability. While earning his MBA at night, Jeff witnessed how structured financial planning can transform a family’s future, a lesson reinforced by his own family’s reliance on Social Security and a modest pension. That insight inspired his lifelong commitment to guiding families with clarity and purpose.
Jeff’s philosophy is simple: wealth is practical freedom—the ability to care for loved ones and make confident choices backed by a resilient plan. His advisory approach emphasizes clear objectives, cash flow mapping, risk management, and evidence-based decision-making. He prioritizes tax awareness, liquidity planning, and portfolio construction aligned with real-world needs rather than market noise. Clients value his steadiness, clear explanations, and habit of preparing “next-best options” before they’re needed.
Before joining Hightower, Jeff served as Financial Planning Director at Barnum Financial Group, where he founded and led the Wealth Strategies Division, supporting more than 150 financial representatives. His leadership extended nationally through two terms on MetLife’s Quality of Advice Committee, ensuring excellence in planning across the country.
His expertise has earned recognition from Forbes and Barron’s for many years, including most recently Forbes’ Best-In-State Wealth Advisor (2025)1 and Barron’s Top Advisor Rankings by State (2025)2.
An active member of the Financial Planning Association of Connecticut and the Estate Planning Council of Lower Fairfield County, Jeff has served on the FPA board and remains committed to advancing the profession. Outside the office, he supports PinkAid (breast cancer initiatives) and the Westport Country Playhouse. You’ll often find him boating or kayaking on Long Island Sound or on the golf course.
