Director

Eric Reid serves as a director for Hightower Signature Wealth (formerly known as Frontier) in the San Antonio office. He brings over 20 years of experience to the practice. Prior to joining Hightower Signature Wealth in 2019, Eric worked at Merrill Lynch in several management roles covering San Antonio, Houston, and South Texas. His focus is growing Hightower Signature Wealth in South Texas by helping clients find answers to their financial questions.

Eric is a firm believer in education and teaches finance, management, and personal financial planning courses at The University of the Incarnate Word. He has obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification, as well as the CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELOR™ and CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING SPECIALIST™ designations. Eric has earned a bachelor’s degree in science in business management, an MBA in finance, and a Doctor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Leadership. His research interests include financial systems in society and financial/technology adoption.

Eric is married to his wife, Lisa, with two sons, Dillon and Logan. As a family, they are very active at Mission City Church. Eric enjoys golf and working out, being a husband and dad, and serving his community.
